my:concept design & drafting is a small friendly business situated in the Western suburbs of Adelaide which offers a range of specialist services including building design, interior design, planning consultation and project management services.

With over 15 years of experience, my:concept design & drafting is built on a broad foundation of experience that has been gained from working within the construction industry within South Australia and the United Kingdom.

Specialising in small renovation and interior design projects early on, helping clients to visualise their dream kitchen or bathroom using the latest 3D modelling software. Over the years, our expertise has developed to much larger-scale developments and we are able to provide a variety of design and consulting services that can be tailored to different projects. These typically include small renovation and building projects but also larger (more complex) new build developments.

The following services are available to assist with the delivery of your project:

Building design will explore a variety of options at the concept design stages before progressing to more detailed design development. Designs are usually submitted to the local authority for planning consent once concept designs have been confirmed. Fully detailed construction drawings are provided (as required) to the local authority for building rules consent. These drawings are also used for obtaining quotes from building contractors.

Interior design (optional) focuses on the more detailed design development stage and takes a look at the finer detail required for your project. This process usually considers wall and floor finishes as well as lighting selections and other specific fixtures and fittings.

3D concept modelling (optional) allows the client to see the finished product before the project has commenced building. Our designs are able to use the latest 3D modelling software to provide you with fully rendered photo-realistic images of your project.

Planning consultation service (optional) ensures that the project is taken through the planning consent and building rules consent stages as quickly as possible.

​

Project management services (optional) assist with the selection and appointment of various other consultants/engineers during the design stages as well as building contractors and/or subcontractors prior to construction commencing.
